    1. This is the third book from this young author. It is a collection of ten short stories set in ten different cities around the world. She has traveled widely and is able to capture the flavor of cities as diverse as Houston and Almalfi in just a few pages. In each story she introduces us to one or two characters, living in the city at the time, and gives a clear view into their hearts as they live, day by day, as we all do. My favorite was Munich. You will connect with this book if you have lived [...]

    2. These stories drew me in very quickly. Each one stands alone, yet occasionally the readers gets a treat and a reference or character from one shows up in another. The "central thesis" if you may, of the book is the importance of people and places, and how those should be deeply appreciated; this thesis is well supported. Moving stories of joy, heartbreak, compassion, sympathy, and life-changing experience all in this book show us how we can appreciate other people and how they identify with plac [...]

    3. I won this book on . It is a collection of short stories set in different cities around the world. The stories all deal with a person who learns about his/her strength or weakness by something that happens in the city. The setting underscores the strength or weakness. The characters acknowledge the learning and are better for it at the end. So, each story has a point to make and does it well.

    4. These stories about wanderers was absolutely right on the mark.It had more relationships involved that were relatable to anyone. Each story created a different feeling and some of them gave a twist of feeling that really made me think about it long after reading it.I am now going to look for your other two books.

    5. Loved this book! Each short story stands alone, yet they each tie together with each other. It's a lovely book about people and places and how we are all essentially the same everywhere.

    6. Heartbreaking, funny, relatable and consuming. I drifted through the narratives and then wished there was more.

    7. One of the best collections of short stories I've read in a while! For all of you who feel the call of elsewhere, yet understand that the same joys, fears, sorrows and humanity are everywhere.
