    1. Safe With Me is the second book in The Chandler Horde Series. This is John’s story. He is the baby of the family and a spoiled bad boy. Jennifer and her son, 11 year old Kenny, are hiding from her jailed abusive husband’s family. The minute John lays eyes on her he knows he needs to protect her. Jennifer has definite trust issues with men and wants nothing to do with John. He’s just as determined to protect her and prove to her she can trust him.     2. This book was so much better than I expected. A well developed storyline with characters that not only grew as the story developed but were believable and in some instances loveable as well. The peripheral characters added depth and humour to a story that could have been depressing had the author chose to take it in a different direction. Would happily read more from this new to me author
